Their Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry Program (GNP) comprises 3 inpatient units and a busy outpatient service.  The inpatient component includes a 25-bed neuropsychiatric unit with an intensive care unit, a 23-bed geriatric dementia unit and a 25-bed geriatric psychiatry unit.  The outpatient component includes consultations, follow up, and group therapies for a wide range of mental health and neuropsychiatric conditions.  They have a Memory Clinic and an outreach service that provides care to 58 long term care facilities and they are adding another Geriatric Dementia Unit.

The successful candidate will possess an FRCPC with subspecialty qualification in Geriatric Psychiatry or equivalent, or an FRCPC in Psychiatry and possess experience in Geriatric Psychiatry or equivalent, and be eligible for Ontario licensure.
