    Our client, Mackenzie Health (MH), consists of two hospitals – the Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital and the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital – each hospital has a full-service emergency department and critical care unit, core services, and specialized services.  Their Woman and Child, Inpatient Mental Health and Inpatient Integrated Stroke programs are located at the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.  An extensive range of outpatient clinics, chronic kidney disease care, complex continuing care and rehabilitation are located at the Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.

    Mackenzie Health operates a total of 613 beds: 347 Acute Care; 98 Complex Continuing Care; and 168 Long Term Care beds.  With almost 130,000 Emergency visits, 260,000 Ambulatory visits, and 23,000 admissions annually, MH provides excellent care to the local and regional community.  The 11-member Cardiology Division at Mackenzie Health provides 24/7 cardiology services through both of their inpatient units, Coronary Care Units, in addition to diagnostic services provided in their outpatient clinics.  Mackenzie Health is seeking qualified Non-invasive Cardiologists.

    Candidates must possess or be eligible for a Cardiology certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and possess or be eligible for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.  Additional fellowship training in echocardiography, heart failure, cardiac MRI/CT would be an asset.  Candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will thrive in a collaborative environment.
